Hello my name is Tammy and I am a CT Licensed Master Social Worker. I Graduated from Eastern CT State University with a BA in psychology and sociology. I also received my Masters at Springfield College. I have over 26 years of experience in social work, which includes work in juvenile justice and child welfare in both Massachusetts and Connecticut. I also currently work very closely with many of the State of Connecticut homeless shelters. I specialize in individual therapy. In my therapy sessions I enjoy including a component of teaching skills in building better communication and relationship effectiveness. Tools used during my sessions are mindfulness, DBT, psychoeducation, reflective feedback, and learning about oneself in a deeper manner.
