Job Title: Licensed Outpatient Therapy Provider (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Outpatient Therapy Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, and providing support for a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. As a licensed professional, you will use evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help clients achieve emotional healing, personal growth, and improved well-being. We welcome anyone with therapeutic specializations or certifications!

We are not currently accepting those with provisional licenses at this time (such as LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A, etc). Must be able to practice independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.

Assess clients' mental health needs through interviews, surveys, and clinical evaluations.

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.

Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, etc.

Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Provide crisis intervention and support in emergency situations.

Offer referrals to other professionals or services when appropriate.

Collaborate with other healthcare providers, case managers, or community resources to support client care.

Participate in ongoing professional development, including attending training, workshops, and supervision sessions.

Adhere to all ethical and legal standards governing the practice of therapy.
Qualifications:
-
Education: Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.

Licensure: Active and valid license in Connecticut as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or other equivalent licensure. Must be fully licensed at time of hire.

Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in providing therapy or counseling services.

Skills:

Proficiency in therapeutic techniques and modalities.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain a safe, supportive, and empathetic therapeutic environment.

Technology proficiency- with ability to provide therapy services online.

Ability to maintain and complete thorough and timely documentation.

Knowledge of ethical and legal standards related to mental health practice.
